Wow. Just like the Formula 1 stars, you can race your own bike around the world-famous Zandvoort Circuit. Lean through the Tarzan corner, fly through the Hunserug, and sprint down the long straight. An unforgettable experience!

DTS GRAND PRIX ZANDVOORT is organized by Amsterdam Sport Events, is part of the Dutch Triathlon Series (DTS), and takes place on and around the Formula 1 Circuit Zandvoort.
The address of Circuit Zandvoort is: Burgemeester van Alphenstraat 108, 2041 KP in Zandvoort.
You can park in the Circuit car park, and from there it is a 2-minute walk to the Paddock, where the registration tent, the second transition zone, and the finish are located. You can order a parking ticket (day ticket) from Circuit Zandvoort via this link (€18.00). Parking on the boulevard is more expensive. You can also easily travel by train; from Zandvoort station, it is a 10-minute walk and a 5-minute bike ride to the Circuit.

The fastest triathlon in the Netherlands: swim in the sea, race your bike on the closed circuit, and finish with the running lap through the dunes and over the Circuit's service roads. At DTS GP Zandvoort, we have the Sprint and Olympic distances – individually or as a team (Relay).

swimming
Swimming in the North Sea is an adventure in itself and does not happen anywhere else in the Netherlands during a triathlon. The three sandbanks off the coast mean that as a participant, you must carefully decide whether to head for the "deep" between one of these sandbanks or run sections "through the sea." Swimming is much more fun—and faster—so always seek out the depth (it's just like real life ;). The North Sea is also a capricious lady; one moment it is pleasantly flat and calm, and the next day it is turbulent and wild. During this triathlon, it may therefore happen that we have to decide, due to high waves and strong currents, that it is not safe enough to swim. We always do this in close consultation with the lifeguards. They know the sea like no other and also guide the swimmers during their race. If they advise us not to swim, we follow that advice, and the triathlon is converted—often at the very last minute—into a Run-Bike-Run (Duathlon). In the past 8 years, it has happened twice that we had to turn it into an RBR.
misuse
Cycling on a Formula 1 circuit! It really doesn't get any more sensational than this! Taking a Kombocht on your TT, triathlon bike, or road bike is truly an experience you won't soon forget. Switching to running in the one and only paddock in the heart of the circuit. A bucket list experience. Trust us!
To walk
Running along the service roads around the Formula 1 circuit while watching your colleagues blast along on their bikes—what an awesome view. The service roads are partly unpaved and have quite a few nice little hills, making it a cool and challenging run. If you do the Olympic Distance, you even get to enjoy two laps of it!
