DTS Bosbaan is more than just a triathlon – it's an experience! In 2027, we're bringing back the ultimate triathlon celebration. And the excitement begins even before the starting signal! Where else would you be transported to your swim start on a massive 300 m² floating disco, complete with music and party vibes? Possibly the most unique swim start in the Netherlands!
After this spectacular start, it's time to hit the bike course through the lush green surroundings of the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest), followed by a beautiful run through this stunning natural setting. The perfect combination of sporting challenge, breathtaking scenery and an incredible atmosphere!

DTS Bosbaan takes place at the iconic Bosbaan, surrounded by the stunning greenery of the Amsterdam Forest, just a short distance from the heart of Amsterdam.
Our event village is located right next to the KNRB and OKEANOS rowing facilities, where you'll find the registration desk, the finish area and a fantastic atmosphere for athletes and supporters alike!

THE COURSE – THREE DISCIPLINES, ONE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!
A spectacular swim start, cycling through the green heart of the Amsterdam Forest and running along the beautiful shores of the Nieuwe Meer. This is triathlon at its very best!
At DTS Bosbaan, your adventure begins in a truly unique way! Step aboard our 300 m² floating disco, where great music and incredible party vibes set the mood as you're transported to the swim start. From there, it's time to dive into the waters of the iconic Bosbaan and take on your first challenge!
After the swim, jump on your bike for a stunning course right through the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest). Race along beautiful tree-lined roads, enjoy the fast corners and soak up the scenery of one of Amsterdam's most beautiful natural areas. The perfect place to enjoy the surroundings while picking up some serious speed!
And then comes the final challenge: running along the shores of the Nieuwe Meer! With breathtaking views across the water, beautiful green surroundings and the finish line getting closer with every step, it's the perfect way to complete your triathlon adventure.

DISTANCES – CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE AT DTS BOSBAAN!
A spectacular swim start from a floating disco, racing through the beautiful Amsterdam Forest and finishing in an amazing festival atmosphere. DTS Bosbaan 2027 is going to be one big triathlon party!
At DTS Bosbaan, your adventure begins even before the starting signal! Our unique 300 m² floating disco takes you to the swim start with great music, party vibes and plenty of energy. Can you imagine a more exciting way to start your triathlon?
After swimming in the Bosbaan, it's time to jump on your bike and race along a beautiful, fast course through the green heart of the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest). With our 8 km cycling loop, we offer both Sprint and Olympic Distance races. You'll then complete your challenge with a stunning run through these beautiful surroundings.
CHOOSE YOUR DISTANCE:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim | 24 km bike | 5 km run
- Olympic Distance (OD): 1,500 m swim | 40 km bike | 10 km run

On race day, simply stop by our registration desk to collect your personal DTS Race Kit. We'll hand you an envelope packed with everything you need to get ready for your big race!

- Helmet and bike stickers – to make sure your gear is properly identified.
- MYLAPS ProChip (rental included) – for accurate timing of your race. Please remember to return your chip after finishing!

At our lively event village right next to the Bosbaan, you can hang out with friends, family and fellow triathletes. Enjoy a delicious hot sausage sandwich, a freshly toasted panini or a nice cold, freshly poured draft beer. Kick back, share your best race stories and relive that incredible swim start from our floating disco!
And don't forget to bring your entire fan club! DTS Bosbaan is also a fantastic place for supporters to spend the day. Relax by the water, surrounded by beautiful greenery, great vibes and plenty of sporting action.
At DTS, it's not just about your finish time, it's about all the great moments that come with it!

NEW FOR 2027: COLLECT YOUR RENTAL WETSUIT AT THE EVENT!
Renting a wetsuit through your registration? From 2027 onwards, rental wetsuits will no longer be delivered to your home. Instead, you can collect yours at the stand of our partner Dare2Tri & De Boer Wetsuits at the event venue.
And here's some great news! You don't have to wait until race day to collect your wetsuit! The day before your DTS race, Dare2Tri & De Boer Wetsuits will be hosting a special Wetsuit Test Day.
So why not drop by, enjoy the atmosphere and try out a few different wetsuits to find your perfect fit?
Love your wetsuit and decide to buy it? Great! Your €55 rental fee will be deducted from the purchase price!
Prefer to stick with renting? No problem at all! Your wetsuit will be ready and waiting for you. After your race, simply return it to the wetsuit stand.
Wetsuit rental fee 2027: €55.
You can book your wetsuit rental when registering for the event, or easily add it later. Simply click the MY DASHBOARD button in your registration confirmation email to book your wetsuit.
Wetsuit rentals can be booked up to 14 days before the event.

WETSUIT OR NO WETSUIT? LET'S CHECK THE WATER!
Wondering whether you'll need a wetsuit for your DTS race? We've got you covered!
On the Thursday before race day, we'll take our first water temperature measurement. As soon as we have the results, we'll share them on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so you know what to expect!
Wetsuit rules:
- Below 16°C: Wearing a wetsuit is mandatory.
- 16°C – 23°C: Wetsuits are optional but permitted. Between 16°C and 20°C, we strongly recommend wearing one.
- Above 23°C: Wetsuits are not permitted for Sprint & Olympic Distance
Please note that the official wetsuit decision will be based on the water temperature measured on race day.
NEED A WETSUIT? NO PROBLEM!
You can easily rent a wetsuit for €55 when registering for the event.
Already registered? Simply click the MY DASHBOARD button in your registration confirmation email to add a wetsuit rental to your booking. You can do this up to 14 days before the event.
Your wetsuit will be waiting for you at the Dare2Tri & De Boer Wetsuits stand at the event venue on race day. After finishing, simply return it to the stand.
Be prepared, stay comfortable and enjoy your swim in the North Sea!
